IOS Pool Plant Foundation Certificate


 

Overview

This is a one-day course providing all of the brasics of water management and water to protect both the public and your reputation.

On completion, candidates will have the skills to test pool water, understand the factors that contribute to pool water quality, explain to bathers what can affect pool water quality, and understand the importance of good hygiene and cleanliness in and around the swimming pool.

All candidates are encouraged to progress onto the National Pool Plant Operators Cetificate course.

Who is this course designed for?

This course is for front line staff who complete daily water testing in swimming pools

Eligibility

There are no formal entry requirments for this qualification but candidates must be at least 18 years of age

On the day

The course will run from 9:30 to 16:30 each day, unless otherwise advised

There will be one 45 minutes lunch break at 12:30 each day and a 10 minute coffee break each morning and afternoon

Timings may be adjusted to suit local circumstances
